Imagining that one a supremely tall being is really awesome. That's a lot of leather!

This is my first graphite piece that I've done in YEARS, so please be kind. (And ignore the fact that my shadows are entirely wonky...)

It started out with a photograph of myself. I traced in my features to make sure that the facial shape was accurate, then started sketching on top. The sketch kept getting tighter and this is where I ended up. This should be a fairly accurate representation of what my facial prosthetics should look like for my Wraith Queen (who is currently keeping my first name for simplicity's sake. If the actual folks in the show can get away with "Bob", "Todd", "Steve", etc, the Katie the wraith sort of works. Haha.)

Up next: One for my husband as well...not sure what to call him yet as there is already a "Michael" in the show.

That looks really cool! :)
I never really got into Stargate, but several of my friends are addicted, so I guess I should give it a go sometime!

Really looking forward to seeing this costume come together :D

I can't vouch for the rest of the series, but Stargate: Atlantis is delightful. *smiles*

Thanks!

I started with a photograph to lay in my husband's features, and then sketched on top to create a wraithy look. This should be roughly how we end up sculpting his prosthetic pieces.

Michaels costume looks fabolous, almost like a wraith darth vader if you know what I mean and it gonna be really fun to see the wraith come together. So far it looks like I can keep my tail. :)

Id guess youre using make up to blend the prostethic pieces into youre own skin?
